Best Homes To Watch The World Cup In!

Going to watch the World Cup would be a dream for many of us, but if you can’t do that, how about setting up the perfect footy viewing pad instead! So what do you need for the ideal World Cup watching experience?

  1. A big screen and plenty of room for your mates to join you
  2. A well stocked bar to help you celebrate another England win
  3. Somewhere to re-enact Harry Kane’s Jules Rimet winning goal

We’ve filmed & photographed plenty of candidates for the title – here’s our top 3 in reverse order:

3 – Watch From The Top Tier

You don’t have to climb all the way to row Z to watch the match from lofty heights. This home’s 2nd floor is the perfect viewing platform, with a bar in the corner of the large cinema room, a dance studio you could soon turn into a gym so you can train for your own appearance in 2022, and a garden that, with a bit of work, could be turned into a 5 a side pitch:

2 – No Need To Leave The Basement!

This basement has it all – you can watch the match in the cinema room, whilst keeping your glass topped up from the wine cellar. There’s a hot tub for the post match party, and you don’t even need to go outside to re-create the action … just use the table football in the games room:

1 – Our Favourite

The winner for us is this fabulous home that unfortunately has recently sold, so you won’t be able to watch the final here even if you have Messi’s money! Another basement man cave with a luxurious cinema room, adjoining bar with pool table for half time entertainment, a well stocked wine cellar so you can crack open a bottle or 5 of the good stuff to celebrate England’s win, and your own gym to develop your footballer’s physique. Finally, the garden is big enough to host a private tournament, and has a pitch side entertaining area to finish off the celebrations:
