How Video Helps Sell Your Home – Case Study 2

Video tours have helped sell every type of property, in all sorts of conditions. The following example shows how video worked for this terraced property in desperate need of modernisation

When we filmed this very tired 2 bed terrace in December 2012, it was unloved, hadn’t been updated for decades, and had been on the market for 6 months without generating any serious interest. The owner was considering dropping the price or moving to another estate agent, but instead decided to maintain the price & have 1 last attempt at selling with the help of a video tour.

Within 3 days of the film being added to the existing marketing, a buyer’s attention was drawn by the new video tour. He made an appointment to see the property in person & quickly proceeded to make an offer and complete a purchase. The estate agent explained:

This property went on the market 19th June 2012 and has had quite a lot of interest, but until we added the virtual tour we hadn’t really had any positive feedback. We had a gentleman enquiring to view the property who said he had seen the virtual tour and it had really made a difference and brought out the true outlook of the house rather than just looking at the pictures! He has now put an offer in and it has been accepted, so good news all round.

How Can I Use Video To Sell My House?

If you’re thinking of selling your home, let us know a little bit about your property below and we’ll ask the local estate agents that we work with, and who understand how video can help, to tell you what your property is worth, what they will charge for selling it, and how video works alongside their other marketing methods. We will give your details to a maximum of 3 local estate agents only, and will not pass information on to any other 3rd parties.
